Ron Wallace grew the first pumpkin over 2000 pounds or breaking the one ton barrier by nine pounds.  This is an amazing accomplishment and he definitely knows what he’s doing when it comes to growing them big.  I’m sure this hobby will continue to see pumpkins getting bigger and heavier, but it does make me wonder when they will stop gaining in size and weight.
